Stevie Davies will be discussing her new historical novel Awakening at the Edinburgh Festival this August, but in the meantime Parthian Books have created this video of Davies reading from the novel which is set in 1850, one year after the publication of Darwin's Origins of the Species.

A Literature Wales, Welsh Government funded project entitled 'Developing Dylan' will run from October 2013 in schools, colleges and universities with the aim of bringing the work of one of Wales' best known playwrights to a new audience.
The project will invite new intepretations of the work of Dylan Thomas using a variety of mediums including rap, social media and film.
