The first official e-festival to be held in the UK will take place from Saturday 28th - Sunday 29th July in Kidwelly. Planning to 'unashamedly' celebrate the e-book, the festival will host a wide range of bestselling authors, joined by a line up of entertainers and high profile media and radio figures.

Award winning poet Philip Gross and Anne Cluysenaar will be reading in Caerleon Town Hall on Wednesday 25th July, at 7.30pm. Philip Gross will be reading from his Wales Book of the Year People's Choice winner Deep Field, while Anne Cluysenaar will be reading from her latest collection Migragtion.
Tickets are priced at £10 (£9 for concessions) and details are available through the Literature Wales website or by emailing Val Evans at [email protected] Poet and established performer Gwyn Parry will be the featured writer in An Evening of Spoken Word at Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Mold on Thursday 26th July. The event, organised by The Absurd and supported by Literature Wales, is priced at £6 per ticket and starts at 7pm.

Poet Rhian Edwards will be reading a taking part in an open mic night at the Imperial Hotel in Merthyr Tydfil on Thursday 19th July. Events start at 7.30pm and there's free entry.
The evening is being supported by Literature Wales, visit their website for further information. Seren Books will be launching Grahame Davies's first collection of English language poetry at Waterstones Cardiff on Friday 20th July. Already a successful poet in the Welsh language, Lightening Beneath the Sea is Davies's first English anthology and includes 'Departed', a modern elegy recently selected for Guardian Poem of the Week.

Cathy will be accompanied by her own dog Finn, the inspiration behind the book, in an event guaranteed to entertain all ages!
