Still recovering from the marathon celebrations last weekend which marked the centenary of the birth of Dylan Thomas? Fear not, as events marking the life of the poet who urged us ‘not to go gentle into that good night’ rage on in the coming days. Cinnamon Press and John Barnie launch Footfalls in the Silence at The Arts Centre Bookshop, Aberystwyth: a free event starting at 6.30 pm in which John Barnie will be in conversation with Matthew Jarvis about his new memoir.

‘Going Batty at the Library’, with Flintshire Library Service: a special Literature Wales supported library day where children can meet authors and illustrators and discover the joy of reading. To attend contact Cathy Barber at [email protected].
‘An Evening with the Cellar Bards’, 7:30pm in the Cellar Bar, Cardigan: The Cellar Bards and special guest Bethany W Pope will be hosting a literary evening, complete with open mic slots. Live Literature Company Performance of In Parenthesis: The Live Literature Company will be giving a return early evening performance of In Parenthesis at The Wales Millennium Centre. The performance marks the 40th Anniversary of the death of David Jones and commemorates the Battle of Ypres November 1914.
