BBC Cymru Wales and the National Theatre of Wales have teamed up to announce the second Wales Drama Award. The prize of £10,000 will be awarded to a writer residing in Wales for the submission of a full-length script in any medium, published or unpublished. Teh competition is run in partnership wiht BBC Writersroom and the winner will also be given a chance to develop their script.
Submissions will need to be made before 5pm on 7th October 2014 and this year's judges are Kate Rowland, Faith Penhale, John McGRa
The inaugural prize was won in 2012 by Katherine Chandler for her script Parallel Lines, which led to her short drama Tag being produced on BBC i-Player.
