After a long-list of 25 nominations, Wales Arts Review have announced the 6 titles which have made it to the short-list for the accolade of Greatest Welsh Novel. The final six are:
- On the Black Hill, by Bruce Chatwin
- Un Nos Ola Leuad, by Caradog Prichard
- The Life of Rebecca Jones, by Angharad Price
- Border Country, by Raymond Williams
- A Toy Epic, by Emyr Humphrys
- Shifts, by Christopher Meredith
Votes can be cast online through Wales Arts Review until midnight on Sunday 12th October and the winner will be announced at the Wales Arts Review Roundtable event on November 1st, at the Wales Millennium Centre.
Two PDF volumes of all 25 nominating essays are also available to download.
