Now in its tenth year the Caerleon Festival (South Wales) offers a range of events on art, history and literature with a strong Welsh feel. Literary highlights include the following events:
7th July 10am – 4.30pm: Meet the Authors Day with Ben Kane, Catherine Fisher, Paul Flynn MP, Jon Gower and Tim Lebbon. (Ticketed)
8th July 2pm – 4.30pm: All Wales Comic Verse Competition 2012 Grand Final. This year’s judging panel includes Mab Jones, Peter Manley, Paul Flynn MP and Siriol Jenkins. (Ticketed)
12th July 7.30pm: Bathhouse Bards with National Poet of Wales Gillian Clarke (this event is supported by Literature Wales and is a free event)
13th July 7.30 pm: Richard III performed in the Roman Amphitheatre by the Festival Players. (Ticketed)
