Literature Wales have announced their 2015 Writers Bursaries, naming the twenty five writers who will receive financial support in the 2015/16 year.
As well as supporting a wealth of new talent, bursaries have also been awarded to a number of established figures in the literary world. Nineteen of this year’s authors are first-time bursary recipients and new writing is particularly supported with the inclusion of eleven writers who have not yet published a volume of their own work.
Writers receiving support this year include: Michelle Briscombe, Robin James Ganderton, Mab Jones, Daniel Morden, Eloise Williams, Emlyn Williams and Dylan Williams. The awards cover a range of writing genres, including English and Welsh language fiction, poetry and travel writing.
